Zoe here, thanks for joining me on my adventures whilst I continue to follow the sun’s journey around the world.
I started this blog as my “diary” when I left for my first solo adventure backpacking around the world. In March 2014 I left my job, packed up my belongings, left my small, country town where I had lived my whole life and flew to Bali to see where I would end up. It was quite the journey with as many highs as lows.
I travelled from Bali to Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, China, Tibet, Nepal and India between March 2014 and July 2014.
In August 2014 I spent 3 amazing months travelling through the beautiful countries of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
I spent the last few months of 2014 travelling through Eastern Europe (Croatia, Slovenia, Hungry, Slovakia and Poland) before settling into London life with a few side trips to Portugal and Belgium.
2015 saw another journey unfold and I celebrated the New Year in Auckland, New Zealand where I lived, worked and travelled for about 10 months.
At the end of 2015 I travelled to Peru for 3 weeks and visited Machu Picchu before flying back to Australia.
These days I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia, studying to become a yoga teacher and heading out regularly for weekend mountain hikes and spending too much time on the beach all while saving for my next adventure.
I have only recently returned from five incredible weeks travelling through Central America, which I will slowly post over the coming weeks – stay tuned.
